Three Mistakes in Zilpha Stubb’s Findagrave File

Mistake #1: Zilpha’s birth surname is unknown.

A. The names of Zilpha’s parents are unknown.
B. There is no evidence that her surname was Hayes.

Mistake #2: Zilpha Stubbs did not die on 7 Nov 1807.

We know this because by the reference to her in the will (see below) that Joseph Stubbs left when he died in 1816.

Mistake #3: Zilpha Stubbs did not die in Preble county nor is she buried in Preble County, Ohio.

A. There is no evidence for the death in Preble County.
B. None of her children moved to Preble County and none of them are buried there.
C. There is no evidence that Zilpha Stubbs moved to Preble County.
